Each plug-in enables seamless integration of J-Integra® for .NET functionality within their corresponding environment.
Visual Studio .NET Plug-in
The J-Integra® for .NET plug-in for Visual Studio .NET enables developers who use Visual Studio .NET to incorporate J-Integra® for .NET into their .NET client applications while working within the Visual Studio .NET environment. It provides all the functionality necessary to create a working client, including the following tasks:
- Generating .NET proxies for Java classes
- Generating a .NET Remoting configuration file that requires no manual editing
Eclipse Plug-in
The J-Integra® for .NET plug-in for Eclipse enables developers who use Eclipse to incorporate J-Integra® for .NET into their Java server or client applications while working within the Eclipse IDE workbench tool environment. It was built using the Eclipse PDE (Plug-in Development Environment) and extends the functionality of the Eclipse IDE to include the following tasks:
- Configuring the J-Integra® for .NET runtime
- Generating Web Application Archive files (for deployment in a Web server)
- Generating Java proxies to enable Java clients to access .NET servers
